Mock Trial

A group of young people stand in a courtroom, posing for a photo.

HHS Mock Trial gives students the opportunity to experience the courtroom while developing skills in public speaking, teamwork, critical thinking, and legal reasoning. The team is sponsored by Taylor Lutgen, with Ann Fiddler serving as the attorney coach.

During September, the team meets Mondays from 6–8 p.m. at HHS (September 14, 21, and 28).

Auditions are October 5, and competition practices begin the week of October 14, meeting Mondays and Thursdays from 6–8 p.m. Practices are primarily held at HHS, with some sessions taking place at the Ringgold Courthouse.

Permission slips for mock trail can be accessed online or picked up from Ms. Lutgen in Room 2214, at the end of the B2 hallway.

Parents and students can also join through the ParentSquare group.
