Message from our Principal

Dear Heritage High School Students and Families,
I hope you have had a wonderful summer filled with opportunities to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. As we prepare to begin the 2026–2027 school year, I want to welcome each of you back to Heritage High School.
Looking back on last year, I am incredibly proud of all that our students, staff, and families accomplished together. Throughout the year, I witnessed countless examples of academic excellence, school spirit, leadership, service, and perseverance. Those experiences reinforced what makes Heritage such an exceptional place to learn and grow.
As we begin a new school year, our commitment remains the same: providing every student with the opportunities, support, and encouragement they need to be successful. We strive to create a school where students are challenged academically, connected through meaningful relationships, and inspired to become the very best version of themselves.
Heritage offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to get involved, whether through rigorous academics, athletics, fine arts, career pathways, clubs, or student organizations. I encourage every student to take advantage of these experiences, build new connections, and make the most of everything Heritage has to offer. The memories, friendships, and lessons gained through involvement often become some of the most meaningful parts of the high school experience.
To our students, I encourage you to begin this year with a positive attitude, a willingness to work hard, and a commitment to making a difference in our school community. Set goals, challenge yourself, and never underestimate the impact you can have on those around you.
To our parents and families, thank you for your continued partnership and support. Your involvement plays a vital role in the success of our students, and we appreciate the trust you place in us each day. We look forward to working together throughout the year to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
We are excited to welcome everyone back to campus and begin another outstanding year at Heritage High School. I know the 2026–2027 school year will be filled with new opportunities, continued growth, and many reasons to celebrate.
Go Generals!
Sincerely,
Matt Phillips
