HOSA
Health Occupation Students of America
Explore healthcare. Serve your community. Build your future.
HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is a great fit for students interested in medicine, healthcare, and health-related careers. Members gain valuable experience through community service, volunteer opportunities, competitions, and activities while connecting with other students who share an interest in healthcare.
Throughout the year, HOSA members can participate in:
School blood drives held twice each year
State Competition in Atlanta each spring, with participants eligible to earn an academic letter
Community service and volunteer opportunities
Social events, parties, and joint club activities
Opportunities to earn a HOSA graduation cord
HOSA involvement can also help students develop leadership, teamwork, and service experience that can strengthen college and job applications.
