Avoid The Hassle, Pay Fees Online

HHS Parents: We have a number of students who have outstanding fees (missing books, chargers, chromebooks, cafeteria charges, etc). These can be paid online without coming to school. Please use the following instructions to view your student's fees and pay online. Many of our parents have already taken advantage of this opportunity this year and enjoyed the convenience. https://cdnsm5-ss10.sharpschool.com/UserFiles/Servers/Server_19189528/File/Departments/Technology/Infinite%20Campus%20Parent%20Portal/Fee%20Payment%20User%20Guide_8-30-2022.pdf

Arriving After 8:15??

CCA, Work-Based Learning, and Dual Enrollment students who arrive on campus after 8:15 will need enter the building through the front office. We have posted signs at the gym entrance to let students know this as well.

Purchase Your Parking Permits ASAP...

Student drivers need to purchase a parking permit as soon as possible. Parking permits are $30 and can be purchased in the HHS Front Office. The deadline was this past Friday. We will begin issuing tickets to anyone who does not have a parking permit starting this week.

Important Info Regarding Attendance

Please remember that you have 10 days from the absence to submit notes for attendance. If you need assistance with attendance, email hhs_attendance@catoosa.k12.ga.us and one of our attendance secretaries will be glad to assist you. It is very important to submit notes on time to set your student up for success if they are working to exempt their final exams. When turning in a doctor's note, we can only excuse the specific dates listed by the medical office. If your child missed extra days that aren't covered by the doctor's note, a parent note will be needed to excuse those absences. Remember, students can accumulate 5 parent notes for each semester.

School Safety Is A Priority

Parents, please help your students understand the importance of being aware of their surroundings. Please encourage your child to say something if they see or hear something that sounds un-safe or potentially dangerous. A courageous student willing to report something suspicious can make all the difference. This is something they should practice inside and outside of school to ensure their safety.

Everyone Is Responsible For School Safety

Students who see or hear something suspicious have many options when it comes to reporting what they see. Make sure they know they can report to an administrator, a teacher, a school counselor, or an adult they trust. They can also text hello to 741-741. Leaders cannot act on information they don't have so please encourage your student report what they see and hear if it is suspicious or dangerous. We're better together!

Counselors Corner

If your student needs support, please have them connect with one of our counselors. They serve students based on the student's last name. See below to find the contact information for your child's counselor.
