HHS Parents/Guardians: Please use the following link to fill out the Free & Reduced Lunch Forms. The process can be done digitally and only takes a few minutes to complete. We ended the year with over $6,000 in cafeteria charges. Some of our families would have qualified and benefitted from the assistance, but they didn't fill out the form. Please take the time to fill it out even if you think you don't qualify. We want to make sure our families have all the support they need for a successful school year.

Please remember that you have 10 days from the absence to submit notes for attendance. If you need assistance with attendance, email hhs_attendance@catoosa.k12.ga.us and one of our attendance secretaries will be glad to assist you. It is very important to submit notes on time to set your student up for success if they are working to exempt their final exams. When turning in a doctor's note, we can only excuse the specific dates listed by the medical office. If your child missed extra days that aren't covered by the doctor's note, a parent note will be needed to excuse those absences. Remember, students can accumulate 5 parent notes for each semester.

Parents, please help your students understand the importance of being aware of their surroundings. Please encourage your child to say something if they see or hear something that sounds un-safe or potentially dangerous. A courageous student willing to report something suspicious can make all the difference. This is something they should practice inside and outside of school to ensure their safety.
|
Students who see or hear something suspicious have many options when it comes to reporting what they see. Make sure they know they can report to an administrator, a teacher, a school counselor, or an adult they trust. They can also text hello to 741-741. Leaders cannot act on information they don't have so please encourage your student report what they see and hear if it is suspicious or dangerous. We're better together!
|
If your student needs support, please have them connect with one of our counselors. They serve students based on the student's last name. See below to find the contact information for your child's counselor.
