EOCs and Final Exams

Georgia Milestones (End of Course Exams):
EOCs are required for American Literature, Algebra I, Biology and U.S. History.  These tests will be given on the following days beginning at 8:00 am:


American Literature part 1 - Tuesday, May 13
American Literature parts 2 & 3 - Wednesday, May 14
Algebra I - Monday, May 17*
Biology and U.S. History - Tuesday, May 18*
Make Up Days - May 19 and 20*

*Beginning May 17th only students who are failing one or more classes or are taking an EOC are required to come to school.  With parent permission, students may sign themselves out after they complete their EOC as long as they are passing all of their courses.  Buses will run on their normal schedule.

Final Exams:
Students who are passing their class may exempt the final exam for that course.  Students who are exempt from all finals are not required to attend school after May 14th (unless they have an EOC).  

Senior Final Exams for all blocks - Wednesday, May 19
Final Exams for 1st and 2nd block - Thursday, May 20
Final Exams for 3rd and 4th block - Friday, May 21

Students may sign themselves out after they complete their final exams (with parent permission).  Buses will run at normal times.
