The Catoosa County College and Career Academy will open
in the fall of 2023 and is located on the Benton Place Campus beside the
Colonnade. HHS juniors and seniors will be able to
take 2 classes at the College & Career Academy while still having breakfast/lunch
service and taking 2 classes at HHS. Bus
transportation will be available. The Academy offers several career pathways that are not available at HHS. Additionally, the Academy plans to offer dual enrollment courses for
Dalton State for students who may not want to drive to Dalton or take courses
with college age adults. Students who attend the Academy are still Heritage High students, will graduate from HHS and may participate in all HHS activities.
