The Heritage HS Wrestling Team traveled 7 hours to Bainbridge HS near the FL line for the State Duals Sectionals Wrestling Tournament hosted by Bainbridge High School.
The Generals wrestled tough and finished as State Duals Sectionals Champions. The Generals advance to the Elite Eight State Duals Championship Tournament hosted by the Lovett School in Atlanta.
In the 1st round, the Generals beat New Hampstead of Savannah 62-16. Then, in the championship round, the Generals battled Bainbridge (2022 State Duals Top 6) and in the last match came from behind to win 39-36. The Generals were down 27-36 when Seniors Drew Dietz and Victor Johnson each pinned there opponent to put the Generals ahead 39-36.
