This Week at Heritage

Congratulations to the Volleyball Team for winning the Region Championship last week!  Lauren Francis was named the Region Player of the Year.  Kallie Carter, Anna Wilks and Lauren were named 1st team All Region.  Avery Phillips was named 2nd team.  Kari Cooper was named Region Coach of the Year.

The Dance Team is collecting toiletry items (soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, razor, shaving cream, etc) for the Children's Advocacy Center of Georgia.  You can bring items to the football game or drop them off at the main office of HHS or HMS.  Contact Coach Beth Chappelear (bchappelear.hms@catoosa.k12.ga.us) for more information.

Students who are behind or need help have the opportunity to come to tutoring sessions with their teachers on Wednesdays through the end of November.  Bus transportation is available and breakfast/lunch will be provided at no cost to students. Sessions last from 8:30 am until 11:30 am.  Students with failing grades are expected to attend.
Beginning Monday, October 26th, in person classes will transition to 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).

Monday, October 19
-STATE Softball round 1 at HOME vs. Mays High games 1 & 2 at 4:00 pm

Tuesday, October 20
-STATE Softball round 1 at HOME vs. Mays High game 3 (if necessary)
-Wrestling parent meeting at 5:00 in cafeteria

Wednesday, October 21
-STATE Volleyball round 1 at HOME vs. Miller Grove time TBA
-Tutoring 8:30-11:30 am
-Google Meets by appointment 12:00-3:00 pm

Thursday, October 22
*STATE Softball round 2 (If we win round 1) at HOME games 1 & 2
-JV Football at HOME vs. Ridgeland at 5:30 
-Cross Country at Woodland Park at 5:30 

Friday, October 23
*STATE Softball round 2 at HOME game 3 (if necessary)
-Football at HOME vs. Central of Carroll at 7:30
