Heritage was  represented well at the 91st FFA State Convention in Macon, GA this past weekend. Two of our former students, Isabelle Hill and Nicholas Moore competed with their Proficiency Applications. Isabelle Hill, Diversified Horticulture, placed 3rd overall in the State. Nicholas Moore, Environmental Natural Resource Systems, placed 1st in the State and will now apply for the National Contest. We should know by August if he will move on as a National Finalist.

We also had four students receive their State FFA Degrees, these students must have 300 unpaid SAE hours or earn 1,000.00 from their project. They must also be in good academic standing and complete 25 community service hours. The following seniors received this honor:
Taylor Dyer
Sarah LeVan
Liana Greene
Jonah Hanshaw
We will conclude another excellent year for FFA at our Annual FFA Chapter Banquet on May 10th.
